Better known as KESAS, the Shah Alam Expressway (SAE) is a defining link in Malaysia’s transport history. It was built to connect the capital with Port Klang, the nation’s gateway to the world. As one of the world’s busiest container port, the facility required a high-capacity route to manage the heavy volume of international freight. This connection became the industrial heartbeat of Greater Kuala Lumpur, ensuring trade flows seamlessly from the sea to the city.

The project’s impact extended beyond logistics. It opened vast areas of land for development, allowing new townships to emerge from once-undeveloped terrain. Among these was Kota Kemuning, our 740-hectare master-planned community. This development showed how infrastructure anchors new residential hubs, a sector in which we have excelled ever since.
