To accelerate Australia’s journey towards a net-zero future, DT Infrastructure is delivering a landmark design and construction contract for Aula Energy to build the Boulder Creek Wind Farm.
Delivering a renewable energy project of this immense scale across challenging terrain is a significant engineering and logistical feat. As the very first wind farm project to be delivered by the Gamuda Group under DT Infrastructure, we are uniquely leveraging our robust international clean energy expertise whilst executing the vision with pinpoint local precision.
Engineering a Sustainable Grid
To navigate the complexities of this regional deployment, our comprehensive civil and electrical scope moves beyond standard installations. Having collaborated closely with Aula Energy during the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase, we gained invaluable insights into both the project's technical demands and the community's needs, ensuring a successful, community-focused delivery that commenced in late 2024.

- Massive Generation Capacity: Erecting 38 state-of-the-art wind turbines, boasting a combined generating capacity of 228 MW (6 MW per turbine).
- Complex Civil Works: Constructing 41 km of robust access tracks, expertly navigating challenging, steep elevations with grades of up to 15 percent.
- Bulk Earthworks: Executing a massive 70,000 m³ of cut and fill bulk earthworks to prepare the site for resilient, long-term operation.
This approach allows us to weave sustainable infrastructure into the regional landscape, driving positive economic outcomes for the local community whilst firmly supporting the state’s energy transition.
The impact of the Boulder Creek Wind Farm, equally owned by Aula Energy and CS Energy, will be transformative:
- Generating enough clean, renewable energy to reliably power approximately 85,000 homes.
- Significantly contributing to Queensland’s ambitious goal of achieving 50 percent renewable energy generation by 2030.
- Increasing the region's overall supply of renewable energy, representing a vital step forward in Australia's carbon reduction targets.
