Kaohsiung Port Intercontinental LNG Terminal - Wharf and Connecting Roads (Bridges)

Strengthening our marine infrastructure expertise in Taiwan, Gamuda has been appointed as the main contractor for the construction of Kaohsiung Port Intercontinental LNG Terminal’s wharf and connecting roads (bridges), with a contract value of RM3.72 billion (NTD 25.58 billion). This milestone marks our ninth infrastructure project and third marine project in the country.
Awarded by Taiwan International Ports Corp., Ltd Kaohsiung Branch, this build-only contract includes the following scope of works:
- 2.193km seawall consisting of 87 caissons
- 1.2km connecting bridge
- 729m wharf
- Platform structures including an unloading platform, connecting platform and turning platform
Upon completion, this project will ensure a complete and secure process for offshore unloading and onshore receiving of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), providing efficient storage and regasification of LNG for delivery to Dalin and surrounding users.
