Partnering with the Perak State Government, we are developing a robust water system to resolve scarcity and support regional growth. As part of a broader RM5 billion scheme, this project captures raw water from Sungai Perak to bolster the Bukit Merah Dam. This is a vital move for the local farming community, providing essential relief for irrigation.

Beyond agriculture, infrastructure fuels the next generation of industrial development. By processing raw water into a high-quality supply, the scheme supports the state’s expanding hubs, including the Kerian Integrated Green Industrial Park (KIGIP). Operating on a privatisation basis with a 40-year term, this initiative manages water efficiently to meet the domestic and industrial demands of a growing economy, including inter-state supply to Penang.

• Strategic transfer of 1,500 MLD from Sungai Perak with 500 MLD allocated for immediate regional irrigation.
• Dedicated water supply for KIGIP and inter-state water sales of 300 MLD to Penang.
• Joint venture partnership with PKNPk under a model featuring a minimum 40-year operation term.
