Securing the Subsurface Power Grid
This project represents a vital move to modernise Taiwan's energy network. As our fourth infrastructure venture in the country, this 161kV underground transmission line ensures a resilient power supply while preserving the urban landscape above.
The 7.3km design and build corridor utilises a mix of advanced engineering techniques to navigate the subsurface terrain. Our teams employ tunnel boring machine mining alongside pipe jacking and open cut methods to create a secure and efficient path for the high-voltage cables.
