NEDA39 Solar Farm
Xiaogang–Linyuan Line Civil Works and Electromechanical Facilities Project
Backed by deep engineering expertise, we deliver critical infrastructure, from metros, roads and bridges to advanced water treatment, connecting communities and supporting a more resilient future.
Building Malaysia’s Energy Grid
Marking a pivotal milestone in our journey towards a sustainable future, we have boldly ventured into the electricity market with the inauguration of our very first Solar Power Plant in Neda Pekan.
Developing a sprawling 125-acre, 39 MWp solar farm is a significant engineering and logistical feat. To maximise efficiency and future-proof this vital facility, we are moving beyond traditional static solar arrays. By integrating cutting-edge technology, including advanced solar trackers that follow the sun's trajectory and a robust battery energy storage system (BESS), we are ensuring optimal energy capture and long-term grid reliability.
Powering a Greener Tomorrow
This facility is meticulously designed to deliver high-yield, sustainable energy while strictly adhering to national green initiatives:
Strategic Framework Alignment: Operating seamlessly under Tenaga Nasional Berhad’s (TNB) New Enhanced Dispatch Arrangement (NEDA) framework, which firmly underpins the Malaysian government’s Corporate Green Power Programme (CGPP).
High-Yield Generation: Estimated to generate an impressive 64,000 MWh of clean solar power, alongside valuable Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), annually upon full operation.
This project goes beyond a standalone solar farm; it serves as the launchpad for our larger vision. With this inaugural development, we are fast-tracking our plans to expand our renewable energy portfolio to more than 800 MW in the years ahead, firmly positioning ourselves as a leading private renewable energy producer in Malaysia.
