Across the historic pastoral landscapes of Central Tasmania, a landmark transition to clean energy is taking root. Building upon our strong, established presence in Australia, Gamuda Investments has partnered with local landowners, principally the Downie Family, stewards of this land for over two centuries, and development partner Alternate Path, to co-develop the Weasel Solar Farm and Cellars Hill Wind Farm.

Delivering a combined capacity of 600 MW of wind and solar energy, paired with a massive 600 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), is a monumental engineering and logistical feat. Gamuda Investments is leading this project, taking a direct equity stake in the portfolio as our first significant investment in Australian renewable energy development. This strategic move secures our development rights and, through our wholly owned subsidiary, Gamuda Holdings Pty Ltd, enables us to deliver the infrastructure under sole-source Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts — moving beyond traditional contracting to navigate the complexities of this hybrid renewable network.

• End-to-End Leadership: This portfolio aligns seamlessly with Gamuda Investments' strategy to become a leading end-to-end renewable energy developer, builder, and owner, building upon the ongoing success of the Group's other energy projects.
• Community-Centric Planning: The entire planning process has been undertaken by Gamuda Investments in close, transparent collaboration with local landowners, the community, and the government to ensure the local ecology is respected and preserved.

To ensure the local community progresses alongside this vital infrastructure, Gamuda Investments is actively implementing direct, highly targeted initiatives:

• Driving significant local job creation and economic opportunities during the construction and operational phases.
• Providing direct energy rebates to households located within a 12 km radius of the portfolio.

With construction of the Weasel Solar Farm estimated to commence in 2027, followed by the Cellars Hill Wind Farm in 2028, Gamuda Investments is setting a clear timeline for delivery.
