Sovereign Cloud Solutions: Gamuda-DNeX Cloud Partnership

The Group, through its Gamuda Technologies division, has joined forces with Dagang NeXchange (DNeX), forming Gamuda DNeX Cloud to provide novel air-gapped Google Distributed Cloud Services (GDC Services).
Our partnership represents a milestone in Malaysia's digital transformation, offering customers unprecedented secure cloud solutions tailored to the most demanding regulatory and technological requirements via access to Google Cloud’s leading artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies.
The 50:50 JV is authorised to act as the sole provider of GDC Services targeted across federal and state entities within the government, as well as private entities such as financial service institutions and security-sensitive organisations.
Our collaboration with DNeX marks a pivotal moment in digital transformation. By combining our deep AI and cloud expertise with DNeX's advanced technological capabilities and our established Google Cloud partnership, we are uniquely positioned to accelerate digital innovation across regulated sectors.
Together, we're driving unprecedented technological adoption, enabling organisations to navigate the complex digital landscape with cutting-edge AI and cloud solutions that drive efficiency, security, and competitive advantage.

Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped
The only way to process Malaysia's most sensitive data while unlocking AI's full potential.
As an integrated hardware and software platform, Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) air-gapped is designed to withstand tactical edge environments beyond the confines of a data centre, while producing an entirely isolated “sovereign cloud in a box” that is physically disconnected from the internet.
This appliance enables users to deploy virtual machines (VMs), container-based workloads, and managed services such as Vertex AI within a secure and air-gapped environment.

Leverage built-in AI tools such as Google Gemini to perform tasks including translation, speech recognition, and OCR to improve mission-critical applications—for example, scanning and translating documents on-site to enhance accessibility and understanding.

Engineered and built to endure extreme conditions like high temperatures, shocks, and vibrations, the appliance meets rigorous standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810H) to ensure reliable performance in demanding environments.

Operates completely offline without any connection to Google Cloud or the internet, allowing users to maintain security and data sovereignty. Ideal for managing sensitive data in disconnected or restricted settings.

Offers infrastructure-as-a-services (IaaS) features, such as computing, networking, storage—alongside Google Cloud services like data transfer, enabling comprehensive on-prem capabilities.

Includes strong security measures such as encryption, data isolation, firewalls, and secure boot to safeguard sensitive information.
